Kill that pesky bar. #redesign31
BAR SOAP GRATER
LIQUID OVER SOLID:
Bar soaps come with a multitude of difficulties when used.
LITERALLY A REDESIGN:
While the bar soap grinder is not an original idea, it was a gimmick and its functionality was a no-go.
SHARING IS CARING:
The redesigned grinder will now actually work. Just twist down on the knob and you got soap flakes!
Clothes come in all sizes and an ill-fitting hangar can create bumps.
QUICK MARKET RESEARCH:
The idea of an adjustable hanger is not new, but current designs are made out of several pieces which isn't very efficient.
SIMPLIFYING THE DESIGN:
Our design will be made out of a single mold, foldable to various sizes.
App for those on the go. #redesign33
Ai sorts news into tiny soundbites to fit duration
Set the timer
Listen on headphones
THIS IS FOR THE BUSY FOLKS:
News on the go isn’t really on the “go” yet. There are in-depth news coverages and bite-sized apps but we need more.
CUSTOMISING TO THEIR NEEDS:
By adding another layer to customized content, people will be now be updated according to a timer.
KEEP UP WITH THE NEWS:
The app will adjust the hierarchy of articles according to via factors like importance, preference, and location.
Effortless constant information. #redesign34
We often take notes quickly, only researching them later on when we have the time.
START WITH THE BASICS:
The pen is the starting point of learning and it is the fastest way for us to mark information. Smart pens exist that can digitize your notes.
COMBINED WITH TECHNOLOGY:
By connecting smart pens and the news, we can effectively do quick research the moment we jolt down these notes.
Twist to turn on
Instantly brings up the
latest news & research based
on the words you write down.
TILTED STEAK PAN
IN THE KITCHEN:
Steak juice dries quickly since the meat is cooked at high temperatures. This means if you’re not careful, your steak will dry out.
Steak actually absorbs back the juices when left to rest after cooking (for a good 10 min).
VERDICT, KEEP IT JUICY:
By separating any extra juices during the cooking via the slant, it can be poured back after to ensure maximum juice percentage.
Flowers and an ease of mind. #redesign36
TACKLING AN ATTITUDE:
Many people are squeamish about condoms, thus the issue of safety is often not a conversation piece.
HEY, DIDN’T I SEE THEM EARLIER:
We want to bring condoms into the open without being weird about it because knowing that you’re going to have safe sex is a huge turn on.
SAFE AND SEDUCTIVE:
Now with flowers, we really be setting the mood. Both visual and safety concerns are met - 10/10.
Doubles as a grill. Jk. #redesign37
THE WET BENCH:
After a rain, wet benches are basic a water trap for hours.
Innovations like the Rolling Bench are cool but do not consider factors such as the wind and accidents.
ALSO FUNCTIONS AS A GRILL:
By covering having both the seating surfaces on both sides of a plank ensures only a single side can get wet. With hydrophobic coating, the water will simply slide off whenever the bench is flipped.
For the modern day heroes. #redesign38
Seamless bicycle riders complain of numbness in their fingers when riding in cold weather.
A LITTLE RESEARCH:
Heated bike grips do exist, though they don’t solve the problem that it is the wind causing the chill + spending long durations in the cold.
We might have went for overkill on this one but nonetheless, by combining existing tech, this heated glove is effective in helping bikers keep their mitts warm.
Make an impression. #redesign39
THE WEED INDUSTRY:
Namecards are dime a dozen. How can we make one that strategically targets potheads?
KNOWING YOUR CUSTOMERS:
Weed consumers require a roach or smoking tip so that they don't burn their fingers when smoking a joint.
THE PERFECT TIMING:
By providing them a quality roach via the name card, we can reach this demographic directly and specifically when they are at their most vulnerable.
Still counts. #redesign40
IN DARK TIMES:
During a fire, locating the nearest extinguisher is important. What happens if the power goes out?
PLASTIC SIGNS MELT:
Surprisingly, there are loads of glow-in-the-dark fire extinguisher signs on the market but ZERO glow in the dark fire extinguishers being sold.
Create a glow in the dark fire extinguisher. *Audience applauses*
